Two cab drivers in San Diego were reportedly robbed at gunpoint early in the morning of November 26, the North County Times reported. The two robberies happened within minutes of each other - one at approximately 12:58 a.m. and the second at 1:14 a.m. - and descriptions of the robbers provided by the two cab drivers were similar.

In the first incident, a suspect described as medium-built black man wearing a brown jacket walked up to the cabbie and demanded cash, threatening the driver with a gun, the article stated. The driver in the second robbery said a black man wearing a brown jacket, 29 to 30 years old and weighing around 180 pounds, also used a gun to steal from him.

The San Diego Police Department did not report any arrests relating to the incidents. A report by The Associated Press published the same day as the cab robberies said the SDPD was also searching for two robbers who had allegedly followed children home in San Diego, pulled out a handgun, forced the children and a woman into a closet, and "ransacked" their house.

In San Diego County's 2012 bail schedule, bail for carjacking is listed as $75,000. Contacting a professional bail bondsman is recommended to obtain information about payment plans for California bail bonds.
