Santa Ana police said they have arrested the man who broke into a woman's apartment, held her hostage and forced her to cook a meal for him. According to ABC affiliate KABC, local transient Thomas Walker was already in police custody for selling methamphetamine to an undercover officer when officers determined he had previously broken into the woman's apartment as well as another apartment in the same building complex.

The home invasions occurred February 25 when Walker walked into a woman's residence through an unlocked door during the early morning hours. According to KTLA, he allegedly stole $100 from her purse while she slept and fled the scene when the woman's son confronted him.

Walker struck again that afternoon in the same apartment complex when he broke into a woman's apartment via her window, KTLA reported. He confronted the woman and held her hostage, demanding that she cook him food. The victim was held captive by Walker for two to three hours while she cooked for him and he ingested more drugs, the article stated.

When Walker left the woman's apartment he stole her beach cruiser, according to the news source.

Walker will face charges of burglary and kidnapping, KTLA reported. He is being held at the Orange County Jail on a $1 million bail.
