Getting arrested can be a complicated and frustrating situation. If an individual is apprehended in Orange County, California, they could be sent to the Santa Ana Mens/Woman Central, where he or she will be processed. The jail is also known as the Orange County Jail and is located at 550 North Flower Street in Santa Ana, California. According to the facility's website, veterans, AARP members, union workers and inmates represented by private attorneys will get an 8 percent discount on bail bonds.
All inmates are allowed visits, however, each of them have to be scheduled by phone and have to be made one day prior to the day the visitor would like to come to the facility. Inmates who have special classifications have a different set of guidelines, which will be given to them upon their arrival. When someone comes to visit an inmate, he or she will have to arrive to the facility 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time of their check in. If he or she is late, there will be no admission and he or she will have to reschedule.
Each visitor who is over 18 must be able to present a valid government issued ID such as a passport, military ID, driver's license, county, city or state employee ID card.
While it can sometimes be hard to be able to post bail or know what to do in the confusing situation of an arrest, it is advised the arrestee contact a California bail bondsman, who will be able to help him or her with what to do. There are plenty of professionals available throughout Orange County who understand what the individual is going through and will do everything in their power to make the process as stress free as possible.
