An Escondido restaurant owner has been arrested and may lose his liquor license after an inspection by the state's Alcoholic Beverage Control agents. Though it started out as a routine inspection of Mexican restaurant Mariscos La Botana by Escondido police in conjunction with ABC agents, when law enforcement officials found out that owner Hector Martinez was currently on probation, they decided to do a thorough search of the facilities, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
The agents found about 10 grams of methamphetamine with a street value of about $1,000. Authorities also found $12,000 cash after searching his restaurant on West Washington Ave. …
