Recent crime keeps San Diego State University Police on their toes
There's been quite a bit of activity on the SDSU campus this week, according to San Diego State University Police- and it all started with a peeping tom incident.

The incident reportedly took place inside a restroom in the physics building, according to sources, but the suspect was long gone by the time officers arrived.

One day prior to that, a non-student was taken into custody at the campus book store after he unsuccessfully tried to shoplift two text books.  Text books are expensive and are a hot commodity on the …

Instagram Ticket Thief And An Unruly Library Patron

College campuses are not immune from unlawful activity.  Despite the academic bubble environment, instances of crime can strike on any day at any time.

Below are just a few examples of recent calls to the SDSU Police Department.

On Oct. 27, a student called into report a potential transient had been spotted near the Zura Residence hall.  The caller said they believed this person was holding a knife, which drew some concern.  Police say the transient was last seen collecting cans and wearing a cloth to cover their mouth.  He or she has not been spotted since.
