All of Sorrento Valley, Torrey Preserve, Del Mar Heights, Carmel Valley, North City, Torrey Highlands and Black Mountain Ranch are policed by the San Diego Police Department Northwestern Division. This area is around 42 square miles in size and 58,500 people call it home.
The SDPD Northwestern Division, in an effort to serve their residents better, will take reports of minor crimes with no suspect information and also removed-from-scene hit and run reports, right over the counter at their station. All you have to do is drop by or call. They also run security checks on empty and vacation homes and regularly visit people who are elderly, disabled or alone. If you are in need of this type of help, please call the station.
ARREST AND THE BAIL BOND PROCESS
The SDPD Northwestern Division Police Station does not have a jail or any kind of holding facility on the premises, so bail cannot be posted here. People who are arrested in this area will be transported to the Men’s Central Jail or the Las Colinas Women's Jail.
Bailing someone out of these jails can be a very stressful experience. That’s why we are dedicated to helping you through the process -- from bail to jail release -- and answering any questions that you have.
We really understand both individuals and families in trouble because we’re a family run business. Our office is staffed 24/7 to handle any of your bail bond needs. We can have a bondsman come to you, or we can send you an application by fax or email.
We handle all charges and types of bail, but we specialize in high bail amounts and family situations. Call 888 Bail Bonds toll free at 888-224-5266 for help with the San Diego jails.
