The Mid City Division Station provides law enforcement services for the communities of Azalea/Hollywood Park, Castle, Cherokee Point, Chollas Creek, Colina del Sol, College Area East, College Area West, Corridor, Darnall, El Cerrito, Fairmont Village, Fox Canyon, Gateway, Islenair, Kensington, Normal Heights, Oak Park, Rolando, Swan Canyon, Talmadge, Teralta East, Teralta West, and Webster – an area that is 16 square miles in size. The total population of is around 157,320 people.

ARREST AND THE BAIL BOND PROCESS

The SDPD Mid City Police Station doesn’t have a jail or holding cells so bail cannot be posted here. Men’s Central Jail or Las Colinas Jail for women are the detention centers for defendants arrested by the San Diego Police Deparment.
