The San Diego Police Department Central Division Station patrols all areas of Balboa Park, Barrio Logan, Core-Columbia, Cortez, East Village, Gaslamp, Golden Hill, Grant Hill, Harborview, Horton Plaza, Little Italy, Logan Heights, Marina, Memorial, Park West, Sherman Heights, South Park and Stockton in a patrol jurisdiction that encompasses 10 square miles. Over 85,930 local people benefit from their law enforcement training and expertise.

Fingerprinting is no longer available at any of the San Diego Police facilities, but here are some services that are still performed by the Central Division Police: At their stations, they have special engraving tools that can be checked out like a library book and which you can use to label your property.

They will also run security checks on empty and vacation homes for local residents. If you know anyone who is elderly, disabled or alone, you can arrange for an officer to visit them by calling the station.

The Central Division Police do not have a jail or holding cell at their station, so bail bonds can’t be posted here. People who are arrested in this area are most often taken by Central officers to the Men’s Central Jail or Las Colinas if they are female.
