NATIONAL CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT AND JAIL INFORMATION

The National City Police Department is comprised of several divisions and operating units. They are committed to providing the highest level of service and public safety.

The National City Police Department's Patrol Division provides law enforcement services to the community 24 hours every day, 365 days per year. On average, the patrol division responds to approximately 37,000 calls for service each year. A vast majority of those calls handled by uniformed police officers.

When a male defendant has been arrested by the National  City Police Department they will be transported to the San Diego Central Jail on Front Street.

Women will be transported to the Los Colinas Detention Facility which is located in Santee.

While in custody, defendants will be processes and booked into the system. This means that photographs, fingerprints and and national database check will be conducted. Once the booking process is complete, one of our licensed agents can "post the bond" at the jail for their release.

Bail bonds can be posted at either one of these facilities, 24 hours a day.
