There is only a temporary booking facility at the Campo substation. Therefore, when someone has been arrested in the Campo area, male arrestees will typically be transported to the San Diego Central Jail, and women arrestees will generally be transported to the Las Colinas Jail.

Be aware that when someone is arrested, the legal system has 72 hours (three business days), to get them before a Judge. Many people cannot wait in jail this long because of work and family commitments.
