SAN CLEMENTE SHERIFF AND POLICE SERVICES
The Orange County Sheriff's Department, San Clemente Office provides law enforcement services for the City of San Clemente and contracts for Police Services with the County of Orange. There are 42 sworn and 16 professional staff members who operate from the San Clemente station located at 100 Avenue Presidio.
They provide services which include patrol, investigations, traffic enforcement, community support, drug education, parking control, and crime prevention. The John Wayne (Orange County) Airport is conveniently located 30 miles north of San Clemente.
If someone you know has been arrested in the San Clemente area, both men and women will be transported to the facility known as the Orange County Jail Complex (or OCJ), which also houses the Sheriff's Headquarters located in Santa Ana.
Once an arrestee has been booked into the system, their bail information will be available to the public within approximately six hours.
