Perhaps, you need bail bond assistance in other regions of California. We can help.
BAIL PROCESS
The process of posting a Lomita Bail Bond utilizing a bail bondsman is quite simple.
You will be required to fill out a small amount of paperwork (usually taking about 10 minutes of your time).
The paperwork can be handled by our bondsman at the jail, at your home or other location. Most of our internet customers prefer to transact the bail by fax / e-mail and pay our company via credit card or debit card.
After we have received payment, our licensed bail agent will need to "post" the bail bond at the Lomita jail (or whatever jail the inmate is being held).
After the bond has been posted, it usually takes roughly one to two hours for the defendant to be released.
JAIL AND POLICE STATION
The Lomita Sheriff's Station is under contract to provide police services for the cities of Lomita, Rancho Palos Verdes and Rolling Hills, La Rambla, Westfield and surrounding neighborhoods.
The station is located on Narbonne Avenue south of PCH and west of Western Ave (just north of the Rolling Hills Country Club).
The Lomita jail is designed to hold only a small handful of inmates for short periods (usually 1-2 days).
If an inmate has medical / psychological issues, usually they are transported from the Lomita jail to the county jail for further processing.
Additionally, many other factors will necessitate the transfer of an inmate to the county jail (such as overcrowding, staffing issues etc). As such, we highly recommend to our clients to consider posting a Lomita bail bond as quickly as possible in order to avoid unnecessary transfers to other jail facilities.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A PERSON IS ARRESTED?
- For lesser crimes, often the defendant is brought to the station and booked (fingerprinted, photographed, identification checks etc.). Usually, those arrested for lesser crimes are "cited out" (released with a promise to appear).
- More serious crimes / felonies will undergo the same booking process. However, it will likely be necessary for these detainees to post a bail bond.
- Juvenile inmates are usually held pending release to a guardian or transfer to Juvenile Hall.
After one is arrested in Lomita often their vehicle gets towed to a local towing facility. We recommend that you call the Lomita's Sheriff's 24 hour business line to get information on the specific towing facility. To pick up a vehicle from most towing yards, you will be required to provide proof of ownership and pay storage fees.
We know that is likely a very stressful situation for the defendant and those involved. We promise to do our best to help you during this difficult time. Please trust our bail company to help you.
