LAPD NEWTON DIVISION INFORMATION

The LAPD Newton Division station serves the Fashion District, Pueblo Del Rio and South Park-Entertainment areas. If someone is arrested in one of these areas, they will be transported to the Newton Division Station located on South Central Avenue in Los Angeles.

There is no long-term jail facility located at the Newton Division Station. Therefore, once an arrestee is processed, booked and checked for outstanding warrants, they will generally be transported to the Metro Center Jail.

For information about persons arrested and brought to the Newton Division Station holding facility, the public can call 213-485-5235, 24 hours a day. Information can also be obtained on inmates who are in custody at any one of the jails in Los Angeles County.
