The Los Angeles Police Department Mission Station serves the communities of Granada Hills, Knollwood, Mission Hills, North Hills, Panorama City and Sylmar. The Mission Area encompasses 25.1 square miles and has an estimated population in excess of 225,849. This station is under the jurisdiction of the Valley Bureau.

Because there is not a long-term jail facility located at the Mission Division Station, arrestees will be transported to the Van Nuys Community Police Station-Jail which services most of the San Fernando Valley's jail needs.
