    DEPARTMENT INFORMATION

For general information on persons arrested and in custody, you may call to speak with a licensed bail bondsman 24 hours a day.

We can provide you additional arrest and bail information for the Altadena Sheriff Station at 888-224-5266.

    ARREST IN ALTADENA

The Altadena Sheriff's Dept does not a have a jail or holding facility. Those arrested in this area are generally brought to the Crescenta Valley Station jail in La Crescenta.

During the booking process, defendants will be photographed, fingerprinted and possibly questioned by detectives. Jailors will set bail by referring to a bail schedule for Los Angeles County.

Keep in mind that those not bailed out quickly from the Crescenta Valley station jail stand a high probability of being transferred to one of the main Los Angeles County jails. This could result in 12-36 hour delay in the arrestee getting released. For that reason, we recommend starting the bail bond process as soon as possible.
