CENTRAL FLORIN STATION SHERIFF’S DIVISION INFORMATION

The Sheriff Department Central Station Community Service Center is one of a number of service centers that provides community-based law enforcement all over Sacramento County. These stations are staffed with a combination of deputies and volunteers. The Florin Service Center is the main Community Service Center. Report writing, fingerprinting, neighborhood watch programs, safety fairs, vacation watch programs and crime prevention are just some of the services it handles.

The South Bureau CSC covers Freeport, from the Sacramento River area to the Antioch Bridge, and the area east to the San Joaquin and Amador county lines. It services a wide variety of communities – everything from marinas, to farms, to towns and resorts.

There are four main Community Service Centers that are a part of the Sheriff's Department Central Division, staffed by both Deputies and Volunteers. These Sacramento Sheriff Community Service centers provide a wide variety of services to the residents in their substation locations. Some of them are: Taking "non-dispatch" crime reports, fingerprinting, neighborhood watch, Toy/Food Drives, Safety Fairs, Vacation Watches, Crime Prevention programs and more. The CSCs also post individual deputies' schedules, along with their contact numbers, so that anyone in the community can contact them on an as needed basis.

Some of the centers offer services that are very area specific, like the Marine Enforcement Detail. The South Bureau Center, another of the main stations, is also the home of this Detail. The MED patrols hundreds of miles of Sacramento waterways, using seven patrol boats and three watercraft units.

These Central Division Substations do not have on-site jails, but both deputies and police officers do make arrests all over Sacramento County, so anyone they take into custody will be immediately transported to the Sacramento Main Jail, which is also run by the Sheriff’s Department. Bail may be posted at this jail 24/7.

    BAIL BONDS IN SACRAMENTO

Posting a bail bond involves co-signing a contract with a licensed bondsman. Before you sign a bail bond contract there are a few things you should know. You, as the co-signer, will vouch for the defendant and guarantee that he or she will show up for court each and every time they are required to appear.

Should the defendant miss or “skip” their appearance date, you and the bondsman have six months to get the defendant back into court. Generally, such situations are taken care of quickly and simply. If it is not possible to locate the defendant, you will be responsible for the full amount of the bail bond.

If you are willing to become a co-signer, then you should consider contacting 888 Bail Bond. We only charge 10% of the entire bail amount, and we post bail anywhere in Sacramento County, as well as throughout California. We can send you or easy application by fax or email or we can deliver it to you in person. We are open 24/7 so call us and tell us about your situation. There is no charge for that.

Call 888 Bail Bond locally at 916-489-2245 or toll free at 888-224-5266 to speak with a licensed bondsman.
