Within college communities, there will be times when people find themselves in trouble with the law. If someone you know has been arrested at the California State University Stanislaus campus, finding a licensed bondsman can help ease the stress of this situation.
We can approve a bail bond for your friend or family member over the phone. To get started, the agent will ask for some basic information:
- defendant's full name
- date of birth
- address and contact information
- employment information
- list of charges
- arresting agency and where the defendant is being held
- bail amount
If you don't have all of this information, do no panic. We can help!
Our simple paperwork can be completed by phone, fax or email, or an agent will arrange to meet with you at a convenient location.
When you call 888 Bail Bond at 888-224-5266, a bondsman will be available to answer your questions 24-hours a day.
The CSU Stanislaus University Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency on the campus of CSU-Stanislaus. The Department provides 24-hour protection to the entire campus community.
Officers of the UPD are vested with the same law enforcement powers and responsibilities as other municipal police officers and county sheriffs. They complete the same required training and academy courses as other law enforcement officers. Those arrrested by Stanislaus University Police will be taken to the Stanislaus County Jail for processing, after which they will be eligible for bail.
Alcohol Prevention
In an effort to help reduce the irresponsible and potentially dangerous use of alcohol by students, especially those under 21 years old, officers work in partnership with the community to keep students safe. The Department works to prevent the negative results of alcohol use through several preventative efforts. These include:
- SMART- Students Managing Alcohol Responsibly Together, an annual event sponsored by the UPD and Housing to help raise awareness of alcohol-related problems and prevention on campus
- NCAA- National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness events are offered by UPD officers each November to help raise awareness of alcohol-related problems
- Avoid The 12- UPD addresses alcohol problems through DUI checkpoints, strike teams and educational events
Safety Escorts
The University Police Department provides safety escorts on campus 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. An officer will escort students, faculty and staff to and from vehicles or buildings on campus at any time. A Safety Shuttle is available to and from campus locations Monday through Thursday when classes are in session, from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. To arrange for a shuttle, people can call 209-667-3114 or use any available Emergency Blue Light Phone.
