CONCORD POLICE DEPARTMENT & JAIL
Officers of the Concord Police Department have received local and regional awards for their contributions to traffic safety and the anti-DUI campaigns. Day and night, their 154 sworn officers are on the ready and prepared to respond quickly to emergencies throughout the city.
Concord's Community Policing Program is an award-winning program that serves as an example to other local city governments.
When an individual is arrested in Concord, they will be taken to a temporary holding facility at the Concord Police Station. Release from this jail facility can typically take between 2 to 4 hours depending on the individual case and how busy the staff and facility is.
After 24 hours, they will be transported to the Martinez Jail for booking and processing. A transfer generally results in additional processing for the defendant, both out of the local station jail and into Martinez Jail.
We always recommend bailing someone out while they are still being held at the smaller jail facility for a much faster release. You should know that a period of time may pass before the jail has information of a defendant's arrest.
The pre-booking period takes time run its own course. However, as experience bondsmen, we can often get the bond started right away.
BAIL AMOUNTS
Bail amounts are set according to the charges and are known as the "Bail Schedule." The bail schedule is established based on the Uniform Bail Procedures Committee and approved by the judges of the Superior Court of Contra Costa County.
A bail bond in California costs 10% of the total bail amount. This means, if the bail amount is set at $25,000 it will cost the non-refundable fee of $2,500 to bail someone out of jail.
We offer flexible financing for those who qualify, and can usually process a bail bond without the use of collateral. To pay for the bond, we accept all major credit cards and cash.
888 Bail Bond can work with you to have your friend or family member released from the Martinez jail as quickly as possible. Through a collaboration of our statewide network of agents, we’ll get it done quickly, confidentially and professionally.
We are familiar with the Contra Costa County jail system, and have several years of experience in the bail bonds industry.
