    LOCATING AN INMATE

We have links to key county jails (See California Jails Inmate Search below) in the state of California.

Often, the user can enter the first and last name of the defendant and the result will include bail information for that defendant (bail information usually consists of very limited information such as the bail bond amount, court date and jail location).

Most of the county jails will include inmates that are located anywhere in that county.

Note that it usually takes several hours for these databases to update after an inmate has been arrested.

In some cases bondsmen have access to additional information. You may call us at 888-Bail-Bond (1-888-224-5266).

If you can’t find a particular inmate, it can be for several reasons:
    1)    The inmate’s name must be spelled correctly.
    2)    The inmate is not located at that particular jail.
    3)    The inmate has already been released.
    4)    The inmate is booked under another name (for example, females might be booked under their maiden name or hyphenated married name).
    5)    After arrest, it usually takes about 4 hours before the defendant will begin showing on the computer system.

For further information on locating an inmate or if you are having trouble, call 888 Bail Bond and speak to an experienced bondsman. We can be reached at 24 hours at 888-224-5266.

If you’re having trouble locating a particular defendant in our county jail locators, please call Greg 888 Bail Bonds at 888-224-5266.  Additionally, you might find it helpful to browse our website for information about the bail bond process.
