    BAIL BOND INFORMATION

Finding out that someone you care about has been arrested can be a very frustrating time, especially if that someone is a student. Looking for a bail bondsman is probably not going to be the highlight of your day. But when you find the right agent to work with, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how simple the bail bond process can be.

The team at 888 Bail Bond has been helping clients all across California, allowing them to get themselves back on track without the burden of having a loved one sit in jail.

When you call 888-BAIL-BOND a bondsman is available 24 hours a day to  answer all of your questions about UC Davis bail bonds.

    ARREST AND BOOKING

When someone is arrested on the UC Davis campus they will likely be taken in to the Monroe Detention Facility (jail) to be booked and processed.

This will include fingerprinting, photographs, a background check and warrant search. The booking process could take anywhere from 2-4 hours to complete.

Once the booking is complete, we can post bail 24-hours a day.

    INDEMNITOR RESPONSIBILITIES

When you enter into a bail agreement with a bondsman, you become what is known as an "indemnitor." You are agreeing to be the person responsible for the bail contract and the defendant.

By signing an agreement with a bail bondsman, you agree to pay the bail bond premium in full. This is the fee that is set by the state of California.

It is equal to 10% of the total bail amount. This fee is non-refundable. Even if the defendant is found not guilty or charges are not filed, this fee must be paid.

It is your responsibility to make sure that, once released, the defendant shows up at any court appearances.

If the defendant fails to appear, you are responsible to help the bondsman get the defendant back into the court system. You should understand that simple situations such as illness or car trouble can be easily addressed.

Having a friend or family member in jail can put a lot of strain on you. This situation doesn't have to be handled alone.

We are here to help you in your time of need.
