TUSTIN POLICE DEPARTMENT AND JAIL

The City of Tustin or also known as the "City of the Trees" is located in the heart of Orange County. The Tustin Police Department was established in 1928 and had only 1 officer, but with a growing population the department has had to keep up and now employs over 100 officers working to keep Tustin safe.

The Tustin jail is very small, with detainees both male and female being housed there for a very short period until they are transferred to the Orange County Jail. Any inmate coming in must be processed; this could take up to 8 hours before bail is able to be posted.
