Should you choose to visit an inmate; here are some key things to remember at the Long Beach Police Department Jail.

1)  Visitations are done utilizing a video monitoring system located at the police headquarters.

2)  Visitors are screened and must not have outstanding warrants.

3)  At most, an inmate may have only one or two visitations per day.

4)  Valid ID is required and inmates must be 18 years or older.

5)  No provocative clothing can be be worn.

6)  Visiting hours are limited and it is recommended that potential visitors contact the jail prior to coming.

Bail Process

Detainees who are not bailed out quickly or otherwise released from jail may later be transferred to the main Twin Towers Jail in Downtown Los Angeles which is a larger facility.
