The Culver City Jail is a smaller jail facility which only houses a small number of inmates and is serviced by the Culver City Police Department.
This facility may only hold inmates on a temporary basis.
If they are not bailed out or released quickly from the Culver City Jail, it's possible they may be transferred to the Downtown Los Angeles facility of the Men's Central Jail (Twin Towers) or, if a woman, she will be transferred to the Century Station Lynwood Jail.
After the bail bond is processed at the Culver City Jail, the detainee will usually be released within a few short hours since it's one of the smaller jails.
