HOW IS BAIL SET
Once an arrestee has gone through booking and processing they may be released with no charges filed against them, they may be released on their Own Recognizance or a bail amount will set requiring them to post bail in order to be released.
The bail amount will be set according to the Shasta County bail schedule and in most cases this requires the assistance of a bail bondsman as the bail amount is often too high and unaffordable for most.
