Whenever a friend or family member is arrested, it can bring a lot of stress to everyone. If your loved one has been arrested on the Merced Community College Campus, you may not know who you should contact about getting them released from jail.

Speaking to a licensed California bail bondsman can help you understand what needs to be done.

Our team of bondsmen has been helping people since 1971. This is a difficult situation to be in, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Call 888-224-5266 and speak with a bondsman now.

We can approve a bond right away and our simple paperwork can be completed by phone, fax, email or in person.

For Merced Community College bail bonds, call 888 Bail Bond at 888-224-5266 or 888-BAIL-BOND 24-hours a day.

There are three full-time police officers, two parking enforcement officers and nine additional security officers that help provide protection to the campus 24-hours a day.

The officers of MCC Police Department officers are vested with full police authority across the entire state, the same as any law enforcement officer in California. Officers on the campus work closely with the Merced Police Department, Sheriff’s Department, California Highway Patrol, and other law enforcement agencies from surrounding counties.

The campus police provide bike patrol and an escort program. In the future, the department hopes to increase the patrol on campus and hire another full-time officer.

    ARREST AND BOOKING

When someone is arrested on campus, they may be cited and released, depending on the crime. If not, they will be taken in to jail for booking and processing.

This will include fingerprinting, photographs ("mug shots"), a background check and warrant search. This could take several hours to complete, depending on how busy the jail is when they are brought in. After booking is complete, we can post bail for them at any time, 24-hours a day.

    PROCESS & COST

When you call, we will need to gather some basic information, including the defendant’s full name and contact information, employment information, list of charges and bail amount. Our paperwork will need to be completed and can be done by phone, fax, email or in person.

An agent will even arrange to meet with you at your home or office. You will need to sign an agreement for the bail bond, becoming the indemnitor. This means that you will be financially responsible if the defendant fails to make their court appearances.

Once the paperwork is completed, we will need to make payment arrangements. This can be done with cash or credit card, or we will make a payment plan for those that qualify.

The cost of a bail bond is equal to 10% of the total bail amount. For instance, if bail is $10,000 then the cost for a bail bond would be $1,000. This amount cannot be increased or decreased for any reason.

The bail bond process is much easier to navigate with the help of a trusted bondsman. When you call 888 Bail Bond at 888-224-5266, one of our courteous agents will be able to walk you through the steps and make it much easier to handle.

For Merced Community College bail bonds, call 888 Bail Bond at 888-224-5266 or 888-BAIL-BOND, a licensed bondsman will answer all of your questions.
