The Officers at the CSU Channel Islands University Police Department have full law enforcement authority on the campus and can issue citations and make arrests. Each police officer is expertly trained and certified according to the requirements mandated by the State of California. Their authority extends into the community as well as on campus.
University Police are responsible for reporting and investigating crimes, issuing traffic citations, responding to medical emergencies, traffic accidents, reports of fire and any other incidents that require police assistance.
Some of the staff members are also state certified EMTs, with one on duty at all times. They are trained to handle any medical emergencies on campus. The Department also has a 24/7 public safety dispatch center to answer 911 calls.
This program was designed to provide safe and reliable transportation for students, faculty and staff at the campus from any on-campus building to another location, including residence halls, buildings and vehicles.
Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
Blue Light Telephones
The campus emergency phones, identified at night by their bright blue lights on top of a red pole marked emergency, are placed in strategic locations across campus. These phones can be used to report suspicious incidents, medical emergencies, or to request police assistance by simply pressing the red call for help button on the phone.
BAIL BOND COST
The cost of a bail bond is equal to 10% of the total bail amount. For instance, if bail is set at $10,000, you will pay a fee of $1,000 to bail them out. We accept all major credit cards for payment and there is usually no need for collateral.
We also offer finance plans for those who qualify. There are never any additional fees or taxes when obtaining a bail bond.
We know you have questions, and a caring bondsman is here to answer them 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. We will work quickly to get your loved one released from jail in as little time as possible.
