    SHERIFF STATION & POLICE

Thousand Oaks, which is affectionately called T.O. by its residents, is a city in southeastern Ventura County, California, situated in the Conejo Valley. It was named after the many oak trees that grow there.   T.O. boasts around 117,000 citizens and is comprised of Thousand Oaks proper, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills and Oak Park. It was developed by the Janes Investment Company in the mid-1950s

Thousand Oaks is one of the most crime free cities in the entire USA. It currently ranks as the second safest and has won first place seven times in the last twelve years. Much of the credit goes to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, which has been contracted by the city of T.O. to provide law enforcement services since 1965.

The East County Police Services and the Thousand Oaks Police Department share a station that was built for both agencies by the city and the county in 1988. This facility is huge -- around 58,000 square feet to be exact. It is located on eleven acres of land in the northeastern part of the city.

The Thousand Oaks Police Department is dedicated to providing the best possible services for their citizens, and to do this they maintain a philosophy of police work that they’ve dubbed the Three “C”s: cops, community and city. They believe that as long as these three particular groups can work together, Thousand Oaks will remain one of the safest cities to live and work.

When someone is arrested by the Sheriff's Deputies in Thousand Oaks, they are taken to the East Ventura County Jail which is on site at the Thousand Oaks Sheriff Station.

    ABOUT BAIL BONDS

At 888 Bail Bond, a licensed bail bondsman is happy to answer any questions you may have regarding where people are sent when they have been arrested in Thousand Oaks, and how they can be bailed out of jail here.   One of the first questions we are usually asked is how much our service will cost.  Our answer is that it depends on the amount of the bail.

All bail bondsmen in California charge 10% of the total bail amount, which is the state mandated law. This is a non-refundable percentage of the entire amount of the bail. For example, if the bail is $10,000, the amount or “premium” you pay costs $1,000.

We realize that not everyone can afford even the 10% bail fee these days, but most of our customers still find that, it is easy to qualify for this type of 10% bond amount.

We also have several convenient payment options to meet all types of financial needs and we accept major credit cards (which the large majority of our clients find is the easiest way to pay for a bail bond and allows for the fastest processing of the bond). You may also choose to pay in cash.

But whatever your circumstances, please don’t try to go through this difficult time alone.  It will cost you nothing to speak to us about your situation.

We can be reached, 24/7, at 888-224-5266 or (888) BAIL BOND.
