The Oxnard Jail is formally referred to as the Oxnard Police Detention Facility. When a person is jailed in Oxnard, the booking process typically takes between 1 to 6 hours depending on the individual situation. This facility offers accelerated booking and jail services and is where the majority of persons arrested by Oxnard Police Department officers are transported for booking.

When arrested, Oxnard Police Service Officers (PSO's) will complete the initial booking paperwork which includes photographs, fingerprints, and the release or transfer from the facility.

The Oxnard Facility is comprised of eight holding cells, two interview rooms and a central booking area. Because the Oxnard Jail does not provide food or sleeping facilities, arrestees can only be housed at the Oxnard facility jail on a limited time basis.

Arrestees who are not released from the Oxnard Detention Facility by citation, their own recognizance (O.R.) or bailed out will be transported to the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility (also known as the Ventura County "Main Jail") or the Santa Maria Jail. We offer Ventura bail bonds for all jails in the county.

We understand the special needs of people detained in the Oxnard jail and can help you understand the bail bond process. Because timing and bail bond procedures can vary so widely in Ventura County, the bail bond paperwork should be started promptly to allow for release from the Oxnard jail as soon as possible.

A bail bond in California costs 10% which is the California mandated law. This is a non-refundable percentage of the total amount of the bail. For example, should the bail amount be $10,000, your portion will cost $1,000.

We realize that not everyone may have a perfect credit background, but most of our customers find it easy to qualify for a signature bond. Often, bail bond collateral may not be required. We also several convenient payment options and our bail agents can help arrange an affordable bail bond that meets your financial needs.

We accept all major credit cards and most clients find using a credit card the easiest way to pay for a bail bond. You may also choose to pay in cash. However, we cannot accept checks at this time.

We're not just a professional bail bond business, we're a family. We understand family issues. We know that life can bring unexpected situations. We believe that families come together to support each other in difficult times. We're here to help.
