The Western Division Station of the San Diego Police Deaprtment is responsible for policing the neighborhoods of Hillcrest, La Playa, Linda Vista, Loma Portal, Midtown, Midway District, Mission Hills, Mission Valley West, Morena, North Park, Ocean Beach, Old Town, Point Loma Heights, Roseville-Fleetridge, Sunset Cliffs, University Heights and Wooded Area. They serve around 175,990 residents who live in a community that is 26 square miles in size.

The SDPD Western Station Police have a mandate from their city council – and that is to enforce a ban on alcohol drinking in all of their parks and beaches.  This includes not only state and national parks, but small neighborhood parks and playgrounds, too.

The law says that “any person who has in his or her possession any bottle, can or other receptacle containing an alcoholic beverage which has been opened or a seal broken, or the contents of which have been partially removed, and who enters, is on, or remains on the posted premises of any public park, beach or sidewalk immediately adjacent to these premises is guilty of an infraction.”

    JAIL AND BAIL BOND PROCESS

The Western Division Police Station doesn’t have jail or holding cells so bail cannot be posted here. This station transports all of their arrestees to the San Deigo Men’s Central Jail, or Las Colinas jail for women.

At 888 Bail Bonds, we like to serve our clients by working fast to get their friend or loved one bailed out of jail. Once we receive your information, we create a customized bail bond application for you that has all the necessary forms as required by the California State Department of Insurance.  We then send this application to you by fax/email or we can deliver it in person for you to sign.

After we receive these documents back, we will dispatch one of our dedicated bondsmen to post a bail bond for the defendant.  They can also call you to let you know when the posting was completed and give you any additional information that was acquired during the bail process.

We can either walk you through our application process, which only takes minutes by fax or email, or one of our local, licensed bondsman will meet you at your place of choice to help you fill out an application in person.
