The San Diego County Sheriff’s Fallbrook Substation serves an area of nearly 140 square miles which includes the unincorporated communities of Fallbrook, Bonsall, De Luz and Rainbow. There is only a temporary holding facility there. If a friend or family member has been arrested in this area, arrestees will typically be transported to the Vista Detention Facility.

The arrest and processing, which typically consists of a background check, photographs and fingerprints, can often take from 2 to 4 or more hours to complete, depending on how busy the jail staff is.

When an arrestee is transported to the Vista jail facility, they must be processed into the system. We do provide Vista Jail bail bonds. However, while the defendant is being booked, a bail bond can not be processed by the jail.
